By unanimous agreement at the October 10, 2023 meeting of the Columbia County Republican Committee, we made the statement that we stand with our nation’s ally in the middle east, Israel.
We offer our heartfelt prayers for the nation, and we condemn the insensitive and cruel antisemitism that has been flagrantly and shamelessly displayed by those who lack maturity of understanding in these matters and by the ideologues who align themselves with evil regimes and brutal murderers. We stand against Hamas, its supporters, and all who participate in and/or celebrate unprovoked cruelty against innocent civilians.
To be safe in one’s homeland, in one’s community, in one’s home is a fundamental right. We hope and pray we, as Americans, would continue to value and protect this right always.
